Gargano, Italy

There are destinations that are perfect for road trips 🚐, where covering long distances is the whole plan. In Gargano, that wasn’t the case. Our road trip was more about less “road” and more “trip,” where moving just 10 km could take up an entire day. Not because of the roads, but because of the variety of experiences packed into such a small area.

Golfo de Ambracia, Grecia

There are places that are just meant to be passed through—like this one, which we were simply crossing on our way to the Ionian coast of Greece 🇬🇷

But when we came across such a secluded beach 🏖, we decided to stay. A local approached us. We couldn’t understand each other, as we didn’t share the same language—we only caught that his name was Dimitris 👨🏼‍🦳

Through gestures and signs, he invited us to follow him to see something on the other side of the road that seemed very special to him 💙

It was the lagoon—a paradise for birds and flamingos 🦩

Have you heard of Lefkada? 🏖

Did you know that if you’re traveling by van and want to reach an island without taking a ferry, Lefkada is the only one on the Ionian coast connected to the mainland by a floating bridge?
